Hearty Turkey Chili Bag Meals DONE!

Before leaving for our Thanksgiving retreat, I made sure to have all of the seasoning baggies filled and canned items gathered together on my folding table. I also was able to get the bags from the store and had those in place as well.

When we got home, I went straight to work on filling the bags. The girls, of course, helped in any way I would let them. I couldn't put tags on when I was finished, so I left them for the night.

This morning, my awesome neighbors let me use their computer so I could print out the tags. I sat down to cut, paste, and laminate. Genny punched the holes, while Anna and I cut the gift ribbon.

So Pretty!

After I tied the tags onto the bags, I moved all 15 bags down stairs to their new storage place.

I WAS putting the completed bag meals into storage bins, but I found that I couldn't fit as many meals into the bins as I had hoped. So onto the shelves they go! I WAS printing and laminating the tags last. From now on I will be getting the tags done first, AND buying bags BEFORE I start gathering cans and seasonings. Bags and tags have repeatedly held me up in the assembly phase of each bag meal. I think changing the order of operations will help me to be on time with my deadlines.
